Does anybody know any songs about life being a journey?

I'm doing a project for my English class and I need some songs that relate to my thesis statement of: The American Dream is not achieving the dream itself, but is the journey you take to get to your destination. My extended metaphor is a road trip; you have fun while getting to your destination and there are detours. But I just need songs that somehow relate to my thesis. Anything helps! (:
