How much does it cost to replace the ball joints in a car?

I have a Jeep grand cherokee and that happened to me last year , but just the ball joints and I think it came up to about 560.00 bucks with labor. But with the arms and all, I'm not sure. It's a lot of work to get them off. I'd say around a grand or so. Yeah that seems a bit high.
