Quebec daycare, can we cancel last minute.?

I have a place at a 12 $ daycare (semi-private) for my daughter who is now 18 months, she will start sometime in July. This daycare is 15 minutes from my house and is a little detour from work so I am trying to get a place in a closer daycare at 7$ per day but as you know it can be along wait. Can you cancel a daycare with a couple weeks of notice.
