How to stop stereotype toys for kids?

I took a detour through the toys section at a department store and was DISGUSTED when I saw all the toys for girls. Most of the toys were things like dollars, barbies, makeup, babies, and toys that had to do with dressing up and catering to traditional gender roles. Such toys only brainwash and implant traditinoal gender stereotypes into children, which are known to harm society, both men and women, and enforce sexist behaviors and stereotypes. I'm upset about this and am disappointed that nothing has yet been done to curtail this mind shaping at an early age. What would be a good way to stop the proliferation of sexist toys?
