I need help with my workout plan?

I do better when I workout in the morning because then I don't procrastinate and I eat better throughout the day because I figure I don't want to ruin all my hard work in the morning that I have done. The only problem is I have school in the mornings at 7:30, and with a new detour that they put up I would normally have to wake up at around 6 to be ready on time. If I wanted to work out I would have to get up at 5. I've heard your supposed to eat at least an hour before you workout, but that would mean I had to get up at 4, wait an hour and then workout.. I don't want to do that. Any suggestions? Or is it okay for me to eat right before I workout. For information I am going to be doing the Beachbody's 'Insanity' workout and thinking of just eating a granola bar and some green tea. Thanks! :)
