Has the crime of intown Atlanta detoured anyone from buying a home there?

I'm sure it has deterred people from buying in south Atlanta. Crime, coupled with an inadequate school system and fewer amenities than "better" neighborhoods, will inevitably steer people away. However, this is reflected in home prices, and people with a pioneer attitude who want to score a deal in real estate could still conceivably buy in the neighborhoods you're referring to.
